ABOUT
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. I’m an artist and designer based in Portland, OR, with a focus on motion design and currency design. My approach is shaped by years of experience as a light installation artist—a practice that’s honed my sensitivity to how subtle details can carry big emotional weight and communicate powerfully.
At heart, I’m a conceptual thinker who leads with empathy. I approach every project by asking: What story are we telling, and how can we make it meaningful? I thrive on learning—often by setting goals that stretch beyond my current skill set—and I really value thoughtful critique. Giving and receiving honest feedback is one of my favorite parts of working on creative teams.
I’ve been freelancing for over a decade, and for the past four years, I’ve also worked in-house at a fast-paced startup. There, I’ve helped shape the company’s design voice, developed deep expertise in advanced print production, and served as a key contributor in moving design projects forward—often identifying what a project needs creatively, what a client is hoping for, and how to align the two in a clear, achievable plan. Outside that role, I’ve been expanding my motion design skills, translating the rhythm and pacing of my studio practice into commercial work. I love applying those ideas in new ways—and I’m always eager to keep pushing further.
I care deeply about my work and the people I work with. Communication is one of my strengths, and I bring curiosity, clarity, and generosity to every project. I also value creating an environment where people feel seen and supported. I believe the best work comes from teams that feel safe enough to experiment, be vulnerable, and make something meaningful together.
Thanks again for your interest — feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate!
